Barely Dressed Records and Remote Control are incredibly excited to announce the signing of indie-pop wunderkind Jarrow.
Jarrow is the solo project of 20 year-old Footscray-based musician Dan Oke. After spending much of the last year studying and performing in Nashville, Jarrow returns to Australia to join the Barely Dressed Records roster.
Cube is the first taste of Jarrow’s upcoming debut album and a masterful example of his ability as a producer and songwriter. The economy of Jarrow’s songwriting is laid bare. The charming lo-fi introduction gives way to a gorgeous and expansive second verse and chorus – before an extended outro featuring Dan’s own father on saxophone.
